2013-2014 is looking a little brighter for Longton RFC under ex England Under 19 lock Gareth Rawlings has returned from Fylde to reunite with his brother and backs coach Scott Rawlings. It was a very subdued Longton side who visited the Ivor Preece Fields last season, We dont expect a repeat performance. Longton havce recruited well over the closew season with minimal losses so we definately be back to their best for the season 2013 - 2014. The senior squad is developing extremely well with a good mixture of existing Longton players, returning players and new recruits.
