Syston RFC will be looking to strengthen their results following promotion to National League 3 Midlands. They run Vets, COlts and all age groups through to under 17's having over 150 Senior Members aged 17-60, and 250 Children Members aged 6-16.
Syston RFC was Founded in 1887 and celebrated 125 years in 2012, they started out as a small local team on the northern side of Leicester. The team played there for over a century, until in 1989 it moved its roots the short distance to Queniborough their home since.
Syston struggled last season having gained promotion the previous season, finishing in the bottom three but stayed up due the withdrawal of Rugby Lions RFC from last years league structure. David Torr was the man to watch crossing the whitewash 10 times.
