Street Play the Ricoh

It was a great day out at the Inaugural Community sevens, hosted by Wasps Rugby prior to the Singha Premiership Rugby 7’s at The Ricoh Arena. Street took the final by 4 tries to Nuneaton’s one to begin an afternoon of celebration for the club as they watched hosts Wasps go and win the Premiership Sevens.

The ladies weren’t left out, they played the pool games at Broadstreet’s Ivor Preece fields and then hotfooted it down the M6 to play their final at the Ricoh.
Lichfield Ladies took on Darlington Mowden Park Sharks in the plate final at Broadstreet, The Sharks eventual winners 21 -17.
The first Premiership Final at the Ricoh saw Saracens Women take on Bristol Ladies rugby with Saracens the eventual winners 29-7.

The mens final saw Wasps take on Exeter Chiefs in the final which Wasps leaving it late but eventually winning in a nail biting finish 31 - 28.
