Street Fail To Tyre

Broadstreet 3rd team included six returning players for their first starts of the season as they recorded a 31 - 14 win at Dunlop 2nds. Prop Ady Jones claimed the Streets first try after strong runs from Mick Curtis and Tim Harrison, Danny Rowstrom converting, and he was followed over the line by winger Mark Atkinson - a fine individual effort from halfway, chipping the cover to collect and score in the corner - Paul Lydster, captain Chris 'Loper' Harrison and Chris Nayer, two improved by Rowstrom.

Business As Usual

It was business as usual for The 'Street' who continued their unbeaton start to the league season despite trailing twice in the first half against the wind. Bill Vennard sandwiched a try in between a Ben Linnett drop goal and Jamie Newport try for Harbury before Adam Watts, making his comeback after a long injury break , scored and converted to send Street into half-time 12 -8 to the good.

Street added five more unanswwered tries after the break through Andrew Hirons, Martin Hart, Ethan Griffiths - a fine solo effort for the second week running - Stuart Crawford and Adam Watts, who kicked two further conversions along with one from Danny Rowstrom.
