Now that we have your attention there are volunteers required to assist at Broadstreet RFC to keep our facilities at the condition that we expect, we also need volunteers to keep the different agegroups within the club going. Sunday mornings many volunteers from the club get up and at the Ivor Preece Fields to run Mini and Junior rugby sides for players aged six through to sixteen. The coaches deal with ensuring that the RFU's core values are at the heart of our #OneClub policy. These coaches need some assistance with administration. This includes ensuring that all playing members at Broadstreet are registered in the RFU game management system. This adminstration allows the rugby club to track all of members and keep them in contact with events, parties, games, training etc.
We also need to keep people up to date through the rugby club website and social media, all within Broadstreet RFC social media policies.
If you are interested in becoming a website editor for a mini and junior rugby team them please get your details to Louise Harrison who will let you know the next steps in the process. We are going to be running familiarisation session and the first one kicks off on Wednesday 7th September at Broadstreet RFC from 19:30. We have created the event on the Broadstreet RFC Facebook page to see how many people are interested in being able to create articles on the clubs website pages.
Player love to read a good match report, previously we have seen some great shared content from our Social Rugby Team and their match reports gave a good idea of the friendly and fun atmosphere that was present in the Broadstreet Social side, what we also need is match reports from the 1st XV and 2nd XV. If you think you have what it takes to write an interesting match report then please get in touch with one of the committee.
We also need savy social media people who reguarly get the opportunity to watch the 1st XV and 2nd XV play to add updates through out Twitter account. If this is more up your street then please come along to the website taster session and let us know.
Please register on the event so we can see who is coming along
