Broadstreet RFC possesses a very strong coaching team ruled by the rod of iron of Head Coach Lee Crofts. Crofts a former Number 8 and regularly played for Coventry Police until his rugby career took him from Broadstreet RFC to Captain Coventry RFC where he made 247 appearances, captained the side and won player of the year awards. Crofts illustrious playing career saw him go on to play for Rugby Lions RFC, Stourbridge RFC , British Police, also playing a couple of games for the Barbarians. Lee has recently been appointed head coach to Warwickshire in this season’s County Championship Bill Beaumont Cup.
Former Coventry Captain and Centre Mick Curtis is the Backs Player Coach for the Street , Mick played his junior rugby for Trinity Guild, progressing to play many times for Coventry captaining them in their last season at Coundon Road prior to the move to The Butts Arena. Mick also played for Coventry Rugby League side 'Coventry Bears'. Reknowned for his strong 'buldozing' running remarkably Mick also can survive in the hell hole of the front row and has filled in on more than one occasion for an injured prop.
Number 8 / second row Forwards Player Coach Eddie Simkiss returned to The Street from Rugby Lions in 2004 to coach the Street Forwards, leading from the front is Eddies mantra and is a very influential player on and off the park.
