Pimlow, Simpson and Greevy may return for clash with Longton RFC, but Stokes still out.
Fly Half Cameron Pimlow, Centre Jordan Simpson and Utility Forward Tom Greevy are all hoping for a return to action this Saturday, but will be subject to last minute fitness tests. Although personally very optimistic of a quick return to playing, leading scorer Full Back Tom Stokes, on medical advice, remains on the injury list. Number 8 Damian 'Dago' Taylor and Hooker Luke Truslove continue on the long term injured register.Second Row James 'Rookie' Rooke, previously unavailable, has been training well and is now in contention for First Team selection. Tighthead Prop Nick Bingham looks close to a return, but may have to have a run-out in the Seconds, while as predicted, Hooker Micky Hewitt has returned and by all accounts looks particularly sharp in training.
Wing Edward 'Junior' Mbaraga who made quite an impact in his First Team cameo appearance debut from the bench last Saturday against Old Northamptonians RFC , is challenging for a starting place. Consistently outstanding in the Second Team are Scrum Half Jamie Dodd and Flankers Chris Dodd & Chris 'Ziggy' Zutic. All are making sure there's no complacency in the First Team ranks.
