SHEFFIELD Tigers will play in National Three Midlands next season after being level-transferred from National Three North.

The move has been made following the promotion of two Midlands clubs - Luctonians and Hinckley - to National Two North and the level transfer of Ampthill to National Three London & SE.

Level Transfers

Other level transfers in the Midlands see Banbury move into Midlands One West, Stourbridge Lions into Midlands Two West (North), Aylestone St James into Midlands Two East (North), Uttoxeter into Midlands Three West (North), Old Yardleians into Midlands Three West (South), Ashbourne into Midlands Three East (North), Rugby St Andrews into Midlands Three East (South), Edwardians into Midlands Four West (South), Birmingham Civil Service, Bromyard, Stourport on Severn and Tenbury Wells into Midlands Five West (North), Bredon Star, Chaddesley Corbett and Claverdon into Midlands Five West (South).

Level transfers are made to maintain the number of clubs in each league and to remove the cascade effect of multiple relegations from a geographical area down the league pyramid.
